Our aim? A clear head and chilled-out soul. Down into the valley and into all aspects of everyday life. For hikers, bikers, backcountry and downhill skiers, tobogganists, families and everyone who we have the honour of hosting with genuine enthusiasm. In the summer surrounded by blossoming mountain pastures, in the winter on the slopes in the family-friendly Wetterstein ski resort in Ehrwald.We’re really looking forward to seeing you!
The Gamsalm in Summer
Rest, relax, stop for a bite to eat and enjoy the fantastic panoramic view! The Gamsalm is situated at 1.278 metres in a breathtaking mountain range on the sunny side of the Zugspitze below the Gamskar. You can reach us just as easily on foot or by bike in the middle of the Wetterstein lifts hiking area in Ehrwald. . We indulge you with typical Tyrolean food combined with a touch of Italy and home-made cakes every day – cooking is our passion! You can chill out and enjoy the panorama on the sun terrace as the children can run riot on the hut’s own playground. download menu

Come snow, rain or sunshine – the Gamsalm invites you to stop for a bite to eat! Situated in the middle of the Wetterstein lifts ski area in Ehrwald at 1.278 metres, the hut invites you with a sun terrace and the stunning panoramic view, to while away the hours, indulge and unwind. We indulge you with typical Tyrolean food combined with a touch of Italy and home-made cakes every day – as cooking is our passion! Stop at the Gamsalm for a bite to eat during a relaxing day’s skiing, chill out on our sun terrace and review the day.
